‘Broke Back Mountain’ fame Jake Gyllenhaal and ‘7th Heaven’ sexy star Jessica Biel are set to star in ‘Nailed,’ a risque political satire. O. Russell is co-writing the script with Al’s daughter, Kristin Gore. His most prestigious film to date is 1999’s Gulf War film Three Kings starring George Clooney.
Biel would play Sammy Joyce, a socially awkward small-town receptionist who has a nail accidentally shot into her head by a clumsy workman, eliciting wild sexual urges. And when Sammy goes to Washington to figure for the rights of the bizarrely injured, she becomes involved with a Congressman (Gyllenhaal), who takes advantage of her sex drive in the midst of her political crusade.
The film could go into production as soon as January. But neither star has a signed contract for the film.
Justin Timberlake’s girlfriend Biel just signed on to produce and star in the thriller ‘Die a Little’ and was most recently seen in ‘I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.’
