Jessica Simpson is in trouble. She had gone ahead and signed to appear on a video for fitness video company Speedfit for a cool $10 million. What happened next was disaster. She did come for the shoot. But the only problem was that she came after she had binged on the drink of the gods, I mean booze.
The end result was that a sloshed Jessica looked awful on tape. Hardly what one would expect to look like if one has aims to be an example to the obese. Imagine fat people looking at her doing workouts while being drunk!
Well the company requested her to come for more shoots as they could not use the shots she had already given. Jessica refused as she did not want to become a public spectacle. Anyway, her new country songs album is coming up. Videos of her in an inebriated state would hardly help the sales of her new album.
She is presently totally focussed on promoting her new album and plans to make a special show for TV to coincide with her songs’ launch. Our only advice to her would be; firstly, stop drinking. Secondly, don’t be too greedy and sign up for doing things that you can’t do. If the fitness video company wins the lawsuit against her, it will burn a big hole in her pocket. The hullabaloo over the matter has already tarnished her reputation.
The funniest part of the whole episode is that the fitness company in question, in its lawsuit, has claimed Simpson’s refusal to shoot would harm all fat people in America. That is going a bit too far!
