The bodyguards of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt misbehaved and pushed children and their parents during a film shoot at an Islamic school in Mumbai on Thursday.

Parents were enraged with anger when the bodyguards attacked them and passed derogatory words to them. These bodyguards earlier assaulted a British photo journalist in Pune last month.

Jolie has been in India for almost a month, filming on crawling streets and crowded trains for “A Mighty Heart” which is based on the kidnap and murder of American journalist Daniel Pearl in Pakistan in 2002.

Mr. Irfan Khan, an eye-witness said,

The guards of the stars threatened the parents that they should not come in. He pushed a small student and abused us as ‘bloody Indian”.

“Some people have made a complaint but I still don’t know if they are the parents of the students,” Brajesh Singh, Mumbai’s deputy commissioner of police, told Reuters. “Appropriate action will be taken.”

The matter was resolved by parents and no member of the school’s management was present when the incident occurred. Parents also wanted to know who had permitted the crew to shoot at the school.

The producers of A Mighty Heart, in a statement, blamed the incident on ‘paparazzi waiting at the gates of the school’.
