Jolie strikes a deal with ‘People’ magazine for Pax Thien’s photographs

jolie with her vietnamese son pax thien 2263A report appearing in Radar magazine claims that Angelina Jolie has finalised a deal with People magazine to sell them photographs of her newly adopted Vietnamese son pax Thien Jolie for a staggering $US2 million.

Jolie has recently adopted 3-year-old Pax Thien from a Ho Chi Minh City orphanage.

According to Radar magazine, Jolie agreed to sell intimate photographs of Pax Thien to people magazine and the amount finalised could be anywhere between $US1.75 million and $US2 million.

The report pertaining to the deal is true but the amount is not confirmed by the People spokesperson, who described the figure quoted by Radar as absurd. The Spokesperson said:

We don’t comment on the specifics on any negotiations.

Intimate pictures of Pax Thien along with Jolie and her other children has already appeared on the front cover of Hello magazine after they recieved an exclusive right over Jolie’s family albums.

This is not the first time that Brad and Jolie are encashing the media hype that usually hovers over her family. They have done it when their biological daughter Shiloh was just born. In Shiloh’s case, they got $US4.1 million, which ofcourse they donated to an undisclosed charity.

And now Pax Thien’s photograph are on the line.

But Jolie is doing the right thing. If she has the ability to milk the media for such huge amounts which eventually she donates to some charity, then whats wrong in it.

After all, the media hounds survive on the life of celebrities like Angelina Jolie.
