Jordan has finally agreed to her estranged husband Peter Andre’s demands for a quickie divorce. After a week full of meetings and discussions with her legal team, Jordan has decided to plead “no contest” in the event of Peter issuing a petition for divorce. Reportedly, she’s realized that her marriage to Pete is out of her hands.
The News of the World has quoted a source close to the busty model as saying,
This has been a landmark couple of days for Katie. It’s sad, but she’s given up the fight. She now accepts she’s never getting Peter back and is ready to move on with her life. It hasn’t been easy but she knows it’s necessary to enable her to eventually get on with things.
And since Pete is also in favor of a quickie divorce, it is possible that the couple will be legally divorced in six weeks. However, reports also suggest that Jordan is planning to fight back if Pete tries to challenge the pre-nuptial agreement he signed before their marriage, waiving any rights to her £40 million fortune.
Now it’s up to Pete how he wants this relationship to end. If he tries to claim a share of Jordan’s fortune then the stink might just spread beyond the boundaries.
Anyway, I still wish to see some miracle saving this marriage. Seriously, my heart just refuses to believe that it’s so hard for Jordan and Pete to sort out the differences. I mean, it’s not even a month since they split, and now they’re talking “quickie divorce.” Either I’m mad or they were just pretending for all these years.
