Actress/singer Juliette Lewis was rushed to the hospital last night after she was involved in a Hit-and-Run car accident in California. Juliette was being driven home from a promotional event for her new film Conviction when another car slammed into the side of her chauffeured Lincoln Town Car at an intersection in Burbank, California. Luckily, she has escaped any serious injury and was discharged hours later.
People reports,
“The sedan Juliette was traveling in was completely totaled,” says her rep Carleen Donovan. “Ms. Lewis ??? is a bit banged up and sore but otherwise thankfully okay. She is now resting at home.” The actress, 37, was leaving an event for her new movie Conviction when the car was struck. Police are investigating.
Juliette is a lucky woman to have escaped practically unhurt because reports say that the impact was a pretty ugly one and the sedan she was traveling in was completely totaled. Thank your stars, Juliette.
