Justin Bieber’s ‘Never Say Never’ tops the U.S Box Office surpassing MJ’s ‘This Is It’

Canadian teen singing sensation Justin Bieber is without doubt a big star having over a million fans across the world at such a young age, which is definitely incredible to say the least. But, is JB a bigger star than the biggest entertainer of all time – the one and only legendary pop star Michael Jackson. I know many of you will condemned me for blasphemy for saying this but, it???s a fact that Bieber???s debut movie ???Never Say Never??? has now grossed over $72.2 million, which is more than Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’ which had earned around $72.1 million.

Reacting to this news, JB tweeted on Monday saying,

“PROUD of NEVERSAYNEVER 3D and grateful 2 the fans 4 making it the #1 grossing concert doc of ALL TIME!! MJ is still the greatest! #HONORED. But regardless thank you thank you thank you to all those that did and are continuing to support NSN3D around the world. Much love.”

But for all you MJ fan’s out there (including me) can take heart from the fact that, Never Say Never just trails the King of Pop’s film totals, which has earned around $261 million, including international ticket sales. Never Say Never is way behind Jackson???s flick with an earning of only $10.8 million at the international box office. Paramount has produced Justin Bieber???s movie and they surely know how to cash in on the growing popularity of Bieber mania and that???s why the studio has updated the original Never Say Never release with a new video footage.

Bieber has the potential, he is young, but to match MJ he needs to do something extraordinary. I believe that talents like MJ are not born again. Allow me to go overboard, but if there is one guy, who surely is the King of Entertainment, then it is MJ and I pray that MJ always remain as the numero uno. RIP MJ, we all love you and miss you.
