Indeed the crown of reality TV show, Celebrity Big Brother has brought great deal of good luck for Shilpa Shetty as Phir Milengai star is now hoped to be a part of Indian’s most acclaimed young director, Karan Johar’s new movie which he plans under Dharma Productions.
One can very well understand that why Karan is too keen to join hands with Shilpa. At present Shilpa Shetty has become a known name worldwide due to the Big Brother racism controversy, and being kissed by actor Richard Gere at an AIDS awareness rally. Even Karan is in a notion that having Shilpa in his new film will do wonders to the film, especially at the UK box office.
Karan’s film will have Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol as a young Muslim couple living in New York. The movie further deals that how couple’s life change after 9/11 bombings. Earlier there were speculations that a role was also written for Kareena Kapoor, however Shilpa’s popularity has made Karan reconsider about the cast.
Recently Shilpa Shetty launched her very own perfume S2, a combination of jasmine and citrus, which reached number 3 spot in the UK fragrance charts within a fortnight in London.
Let’s hope Shilpa keeps on spreading her fragrance like S2.
