Kate Middleton, the longtime girlfriend of Prince William and potential future Queen of United Kingdom, has finally grown up into a girl who has enough nerves to face her royal in-laws.
Middleton, 25, was an invitee at Cheltenham for a lunch hosted by the Queen’s Master of the Horse, Lord Vestey, for Gold Cup day.
Miss Middleton appeared highly energitic as she enjoyed the racing lark from her royal box. Dressed in a sky-blue jacket, brown skirt and jaunty black beret, Middleton appeared every bit a royal herself. As one onlooker remarked:
It was astonishing to see how relaxed and comfortable Kate was. She was mixing with nobility as if she had been born and bred to it.
Middleton met Prince Williams while both were studying art history at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. The pair began dating publicly in 2003.
In these four years Kate Middleton has come a long way and the growth in her status inside the royal family is obviously noticed. And it is the same fact that made her appear so cheerful and inhibition-free at the event even in the absence of her boyfriend Prince Williams who could not attend the lunch as he was enrolling in a Blues and Royals tank commanders course in Dorset.
Miss Middleton was not at all affected by William’s absence, as she kept enjoying the race and mingling with the royals.
