Hollywood starlets Keira Knightley and Lindsay Lohan are no more friends as 20-year-old Lindsay has quit Kiera’s new film The Best Time Of Our Lives, a dramatic biopic based on the life of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas. The American actress pulled out of the movie just a few days before the shooting was due to begin.
Keira’s mother Sharman Macdonald who worked on the screenplay, is furious because she has persuaded the Mean Girls actress to play the character of Thomas’s wife Caitlin MacNamara.
The film revolves around William Killick, who attempts murdering Thomas because he believed that the prolific poet was having an affair with his wife, Vera, played by Keira. Matthew Rhys was supposed to play the character of Thomas.
Insiders had predicted the movie to be a box office hit because of the lesbian love scenes between Keira and Lindsay, who were also supposed to shoot a steamy threesome with Matthew Rhys.
This was a good chance for the rehab queen Lindsay Lohan to do something different from the usual teenage comedies she does. She has not only lost a good role, but a good friend too.
