The costume and wig Keira Knightley is sporting in her latest film ‘The Duchess’ is stunning.
Knightly is currently at the London Maritime Museum in Greenwich filming The Duchess. This latest flick is adapted from Amanda Foreman’s biography of the duchess.
The movie is described as:
‘A chronicle of the life of 18th century aristocrat Georgiana, duchess of Devonshire, an ancestor of Princess Diana who was alternately celebrated and reviled for her extravagant political and personal lives.’
‘The Duchess’ star Keira Knightley, Ralph Fiennes and Dominic Cooper. Keira plays the lead character named Georgiana Cavendish. The Duchess is scheduled to hit theaters in 2008.
The make-up and hair design, both significant in a Georgian-set period piece, will be by Daniel Phillips.
