Keira Knightley is only twenty three and has already done enough to be remembered as a versatile and talented actress. Her most memorable roles have come from adaptations of two well known novels Pride and Prejudice and Atonement, one classical and another contemporary bestseller. One of her early roles was a television adaptation of Dr Zhivago and she is also going to be a part of the film adaptation of Shakespeare’s King Lear.
But the Oscar nominated actress still regrets missing out the university for her acting career and admits that it has left a chip on her shoulder. She still feels insecure in company of more educated costars and that has made her strive hard to prove that she is not dumb. In fact, she suffered from dyslexia as a child and dropped out from school at the age of seventeen to pursue her acting career.
As a matter of fact, she appears to be much more intelligent a person if we consider some of her contemporaries who more often than not appear in Razzie winners and end up in rehab centers! She in fact has combined her artistic exploits well with box office successes like the Pirates trilogy. It is probably weird that she feels so, but perhaps it has helped her to achieve the success she has had and the movie buffs have nothing better to ask for.
