Kelly Clarkson, the American singer-songwriter and actress who has tasted success in the pop and rock music genres has announced her summer tour dates.
The pop sensation, who has two Grammies to her credit, will be on tour from July 7 to Sept. 28, performing in nearly 40 U.S. and Canadian cities.
Clarkson, who won the highly publicized first season of the television series American Idol in 2002 said,
This will be the biggest tour I’ve ever done. It’s all about the music – we’re bringing extra musicians and we’ll be making an arena environment intimate because I want the fans to be part of the show.
Clarkson, whose third album titled My December is scheduled to release in mid 2007, will kick start her tour with the Live Earth concert at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The tour will end in Las Vegas in September.
