The movie Sex and the City attracts its first installment of controversy even before the filming has started. And the credit goes to Kim Cattrall who played spoilsport and stormed out of the Sex and the City reunion party.
According to reports, Kim Cattrall decided to play the ego game and left the party at New York’s Butter restaurant to celebrate the start of filming. The New York Daily News quoted a fellow diner as saying,
Kim left earlier than the others and was wearing a scowl. She was just shooting a dirty look at the paparazzi.
Kim’s unruly behavior has sparked rumours that she has decided to reignite her cold war with Sarah Jessica Parker all over again. The same feud is cited as the reason for the long delay behind the big screen adaptation of the hit sitcom. A source close to Kim Cattrall said:
Kim Cattrall does not want to sign on to do the film. She feels she has been treated horribly by Sarah Jessica Parker for six years – so why would she want to revisit that for one moment?
Meanwhile, her co-stars Sarah Jessica and Kristen Davis remained unmoved by the incident and continued to enjoy the party with all their good intentions.
