Kristie Alley???s public struggle with weight loss took another turn for the worst when a tabloid publication National Enquirer published a report alleging that Alley had been sacked by dieting company Jenny Craig because she was too fat.
Alley had previously been quoted as having resigned from Jenny Craig last week after having been their spokesperson for three years and announced to launch her own diet firm in 2009.
Speaking about the claim which was published in the February 25 issue of the magazine, Alley said:
(It???s) hurtful and harmful to me. I???m going to litigate. It???s chronic and has been chronic for the last three years. This one (false report) is extremely damaging.
I don???t know what the big deal is. I mean everybody has known for ages that alley is fat. Gosh, when is she going to wake up and smell the diet shake?
