Lady GaGa is all set to better her own record at using weird costumes and stage props at her gigs. After successfully establishing herself as the most weird performer ever, Lady GaGa has now teamed up with body preserver Gunther Von Hagens – the mastermind behind the notorious Body Worlds exhibition – to spice up her Monster Ball Tour with dead bodies. Yes, she wants to use dead bodies in one of her upcoming gigs!
The Sun quotes a source close to her as saying,
She is fascinated by Gunther’s work and life. He grew up in Germany, a country she loves. He is quite a philosopher and has the kind of past she is drawn to. He was arrested and imprisoned after a student protest, braved the Metropolitan Police to stage the London autopsy and has ridden out the Body Worlds controversy. Gaga sees a kindred spirit and is hoping to meet him in New York. They’ve spoken over email and it’s gone well. She is keen to have some Body Worlds element in one of her shows, with Vegas being the obvious fit. It would be good to top this tour – which is already out there – with something nobody has done before, using dead bodies as part of a gig.
To be honest, I’ve no words to react or, god damn it, trash her novel idea. She’s Lady GaGa and she’s free to do whatever weird thing she wants. Let her use dead bodies as stage props or let her romp with a rotting corpse on stage, I’ll prefer to keep my mouth shut.
