Like it or not, Lady GaGa’s meat dress has finally clinched the honor of being the most iconic outfit of 2010. The raw meat outfit, worn by GaGa at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this year, topped a poll by celebrity style website MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk. Kate Middleton’s Reiss Issa dress which she wore in the photocall after her engagement to Prince William was announced second, while the third spot went to Victoria Beckham’s sleeve banded mini-dress.

Contactmusic quotes Andy Barr, website’s marketing director, as saying,

It wasn’t surprising to see that Lady Gaga’s infamous ‘meat dress’ clinched the top spot, especially after all the controversy it caused; but the relatively recent dress, as worn by Kate Middleton during the royal engagement announcement, has clearly made a big impression in a short space of time.
