How can a day pass without Britney Spears making the news? First she turns up over two hours late for the scheduled deposition in the custody case, and then when K-Fed’s bodyguards show up at her house to pick up the kids after the scheduled visitation, she refuses to turn them over!
Not like the drama ended here. Apparently the LAPD were called in on the dispute. Although it isn’t yet clear which party made the call. Now Britney was supposed to have the kids, Sean and Jayden, till 7 PM and then the kids were to go back to their father’s house. And her failure to return the kids after that time limit could turn the ongoing custody case against her favor.
Britney’s almost ex-attorney Sorrell Trope provided the legal insight in the matter:
In a normal case when someone shows up with a certified court order saying the kids need to be somewhere else, the police see to it that the order is obeyed. But that is in a normal case.
The way he kept emphasizing the word ‘normal’ kinda gives you the whole story doesn’t it?
