Recently it was announced that 4 local version of Desperate Housewives will be made exclusively for Latin American Television. ‘Amas De Casas Desesperadas’…oops difficult to spell and pronounce will be aired on Ecuador’s Teleamazonas, Colombia’s RCN and Argentina’s Artear.
A potugese version is also in the pipeline and will be called Donas De Casa Desesperadas.
The Latin Version which will be shot in Buenos Aires, Argentina will be following the same script and format of the English version. But the series will have its own cast and will include local cultural references.
