Lentil and Meat Stew

Followed by a post on lentils, I am really tempted to write my favorite recipe on lentils with ground meat. The recipe is as follows:

Ingredients

Ground lamb meat
Red Lentils
Tomato Puree
Ginger-garlic paste
Paste of Coriander Leaves
Crushed Pepper
Cumin Powder
Yogurt
Nutmeg Powder
Caramelized Onions
Salt

Method

1. Marinate ground meat in yogurt and coriander leaves paste.

2. Fry ginger-garlic paste along with all other spices and tomato puree.

3. Add lentils to it and stir constantly for 10 minutes.

4. Add salt and pepper.

5. Add gounnd meat and cook to the lentils mixture and cook until the moisture evaporates completely.

6. Add water to the mixture in Step 5 and pressure cook until the lentils are tender.

7. Check consistency and garnish it with caramelized onions.

Note:- You can substitute red lentils with any other lentil of your choice.
