Pop star Lilly Allen could be Doctor Who’s next assistant! The pop singer is currently in talks with producers of hit TV show ‘Doctor Who.’ If the deal is finalized Allen will replace Comedian Catherine Tate, who is currently filming in the role but bosses at the show want Lily to succeed her in battling alien enemies including the Daleks and the Cybermen.
A source told British newspaper The Sun, ‘Lily is multi-talented. She comes from more of a TV background than a musical one. After the chat show we hope she’ll take over from Catherine as Dr Who’s assistant. We’ve talked to her and she was excited by the idea.’
Lily last week confirmed a chat show for the BBC. If the 2 Hearts singer were to take the role she’d follow in the footsteps of fellow pop princesses Billie Piper and Kylie.
