Lindsay Lohan has checked into a rehab facility in Southern California in a final and desperate bid to kick her drug habit once and for all. This comes on the heels of her recent jail-rehab-jail rollercoaster ride arising out of her 2007 DUI case.

Lindsay Lohan will check herself into rehab today. We’ve learned the facility is in Southern California. It is not Promises — she’s been there, done that. Lindsay wants to be at a facility that is close so friends and family can visit, but we’re told the facility isn’t bending the rules for LiLo. We’re told it’s a live-in facility and the plan is for Lindsay to stay there until her court hearing next month, and maybe longer.
And now the website confirms that LiLo has checked into a Southern California rehab facility and plans to stay at least until the next court hearing on October 22.
Of course, LiLo has no other option but to chain herself up if she really wants to help herself out of this ugly situation. And I’m sure she is 100 percent sincere in her efforts this time, because the most vital task in such situations is to identify one’s follies and accept responsibility. And she has already done that. May god give her enough courage and patience to face the ugly patch and come out a winner.
