For ex-lovers, Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor, there is no looking back. Both the career-oriented stars are going at ease, and seem to be enjoying life to the fullest without each other. If Kareena is busy enjoying bike rides and Twenty20 one day matches with her ‘nawab’, then Shahid is all set to establish him on the silver screen.
‘Vivah’ star’s upcoming film apart from ‘Jab We Met’ is Aziz Mirza’s Lucky Charm. Shahid pairs and romances with much younger actress Vidya Balan in the film. The film shot in Toronto, Canada will also have Om Puri who motivates and assists Shahid in fulfilling his utmost dream of building a shopping mall in the film.
I am amazed to know that Lucky Charm will revolve around building of a concrete structure something not common in our Bollywood films. But hopefully Shahid and Vidya’s on-screen chemistry will surely bring fans to the theaters.
Lucky Charm also happens to be a similar project for Om Puri like he had in Buddha Mar Gaya. In Buddha Mar Gaya, Om Puri committed himself just to work with Rahul Rawail and in Lucky Charm his interest is solely in working with director Aziz Mirza. Mirza’s last film was ‘Chalte Chalte’ with Rani Mukherjee and King Khan.
Remembering ‘Buddha Mar Gaya’ fate, I am bit scared for Shahid And Balan’s Lucky Charm and just wish all luck for the charming actors.
