Even though Sam Lufti is doing his best to convince everybody around that he never demanded money from troubled popstar pal Britney spears, no one is ready to believe him including Brit???s family. Jamie spear???s attorney Jeryll Cohen accused Lufti of pressurizing Britney???s business manager Howard Grossman to give him cash. He wrote:
During the telephone conversation, Mr. Grossman told me that he had numerous e-mails from Osama (Sam) Lutfi in which Mr. Lutfi made various demands, including demands for money. Mr. Grossman told me he did not comply with Mr. Lutfi???s demands.
But before you go on thinking that this Grossman dude is really loyal to Brit or something, lemme inform you that he has promptly refused to provide copies of Lufti???s e-mails to Brit???s conservatorship. Britney???s side also suspects him of being under the influence of Lufti and thus is looking to give him the boot ASAP.
Grossman has also come under fire from the conservatorship???s legal reps for breaking ‘ground rules’ set by them. A declaration written by one of the lawyers states:
He was not permitted to give Britney any money, credit cards or access to money or to meet with her??? at the Beverly Hills Hotel or anywhere else.
Apparently Grossman thought better of bending the rules since he reportedly not only met the popstar at the hotel but also tried to help her in escaping from the conservators by directing the hotel to deliver one of her cars to her. Cohen says that Grossman decided to paint over this episode by saying that ‘he wanted to build her confidence in him.’
Sheesh! Will this saga never end? And how ironic is it that Sam Lufti???s real name is Osama! I’d better not say more!
