Madonna might soon have to part from her Malawian son David Banda. David has been in Madge’s care from the last nine months but now it seems that she’ll have to surmount many troubles to keep him with her. The controversial adoption of David Banda has taken a new turn after the man appointed to evaluate her suitability was refused permission to travel to Britain.

The High Court of Malawi appointed Penstone Kilembe to travel to Britain twice and was to have relied on his testimony in ruling whether Madonna and her hubby Guy Ritchie should adopt the child in a hearing next year.

The news came as Penstone Kilembe, director of Malawi’s Ministry of Child Welfare overseeing the adoption was banned by his government from traveling to the UK, where he was to spend a week with the couple to determine if they were fit parents.

Ms Kainja said,

We have already contacted Madonna. Someone else and not Mr Kilembe will come to assess her, because we feel Mr Kilembe personalised the whole issue.

Madonna took David Banda to London last October when he was 13 months old after his father Yohane Banda had placed him in an orphanage following the death of his wife.
