After grabbing so of much criticism for her crucifixion act onstage, Madonna is planning to repeat it this Sunday. Madonna is on her ‘Confessions’ world tour and performs while hanging from a huge cross and wears a crown of thorns. One of her concert is scheduled for this weekend in Rome’s Olympic stadium.
She is being highly criticized by religious leaders all over the globe. Catholic officials are calling it as a bad publicity stunt in a bad taste. Cardinal Ersilio Tonini quotes, ‘To crucify yourself in the city of the pope and the martyrs is an act of open hostility’.
President of Muslim League in Italy said while criticizing her that its an example of awful taste. Representative of Rome’s Jewish community called it a disrespectful act and doing it in Rome makes it worse.
Previously when she was condemned for her crucifixion act she said ‘Jesus would not mind.’
