Madonna has been titled world’s top fashion icon at the Elle Style Awards. The material girl who is famous for her outlandish dressing sense has been honored for her crisp style. Margareta van der Bosch, chief designer at H&M, said,

Madonna is already working on her next range for high street fashion giant H&M.
The Elle awards, which are known as the unofficial fashion Oscars titled fiery tempered super model Naomi Campbell as the Best Model, while actress Penelope Cruz was acknowledged for her work in the film Volver.
Thandie Newton bagged the award for Best Actress for her performance in The Pursuit of Happyness. Stella McCartney took home the award for Best International Designer. British actress Ashley Jensen was awarded for the Best TV Show Ugly Betty, in which she acts.
The award ceremony, which was held in Camden’s Roundhouse in London, attracted the well heeled of Hollywood and fashion world.
