Following in the footsteps of Brangelina, Mariah Carey is planning to adopt a Mexican orphan.

The ‘Still the one’ fame singer reportedly visited Mexico’s Frank Gonzalez orphanage with her lawyer and if grapevine is to be believed, Carey is all set to adopt a child. Mariah’s representative has refused to comment and said that publicizing her private life is not appropriate.

The sultry diva recently reduced the crew of her latest film to tears with her emotional singing. 37-years-old Mariah performed Right To Dream for a scene in her new movie filmed at music club Second Fiddle and it turned the onlookers sentimental.

Director Aaron Woodley told The Tennessean newspaper,

People were weeping when she sang it. It was very moving, especially in the context of the film and her character.

Almost all the red carpet celebs are doing some or the other philanthropic work. It probably is the most in thing these days.
