Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) rolled out its historic ten-millionth car, a metallic breeze blue coloured Wagon R VXi from its Gurgaon plant. With this achievement Maruti Suzuki became the only Indian car which has crossed this milestone.
Maruti, which has started its operation in 1983 as joint venture between Indian Government and Japan’s suzuki Motor corporation (SMC). Company currently offers wide range of 16 passenger vehicle models in India and MSI is the largest car maker in the country.
MSI joins global majors like Toyota, General Motors, Ford, Volkswagen, Renault and Honda with this achievement.
