Late night TV viewers in America were taken by surprise on ths 31st of January by actor Matt Damon???s outrageous stunt to get even with Jimmy Kimmel, a chat show host. Kimmel???s show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, had been ridiculing Damon for some time, and on the night, Damon, pairing up with the Sarah Silverman, the well-known comedienne and Kimmel’s girlfriend, decided to get his own back.
On the night that also marked the fifth anniversary of Kimmel???s chat show, Damon ran a snazzy video skit, with a tune named ‘I???M F***ING MATT DAMON’ (pretty innovative name, that!). Keeping up a serious face, Damon continued with his song, which ran :
…on the bed, on the floor, on a towel by the door, in the tub, in the car, up against the mini-bar.
Damon even made direct reference to Kimmel, by pretending to cup Sarah Silverman???s breasts, and uttering :
Hey Kimmel, how do you like them apples?
Now, that???s a bold stunt, ain???t it?!
The night???s entertainment was brought to a conclusion with an extremely funny skit by Silverman that portrayed a dumped Kimmel. The talk show host was also subjected to a semi-naked greeting from rockers The Killers, who candidly stated on air that they were not wearing pants!! The pixilated band was also shown on TV, from the waist down, and stark naked! Comedy greetings were also offered by celebrities like Mike Tyson, Shaquille O???Neill and Elvis Costello.
Poor Jimmy Kimmel, he certainly was not expecting this on the day that marked the completion of 5 years of his show, and especially, not on his 40th birthday!
