Mel Gibson is in news again and lemme tell his fans it is not very pleasant. Gibson pleaded no contest on Friday to a misdemeanor spousal battery charge in a Los Angeles courtroom and traded jail time for three years probation, community service, one year domestic violence counseling program and various other fines pertaining to his battery case that involved his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva.

Gibson was also ordered to perform 16 hours of community service, which he will do with Mending Kids International, an organization where Gibson???s estranged wife, Robyn Gibson, is the president. The judge ordered Gibson to continue in a mental health-counseling program, with his undisclosed doctor.

Oksana was nowhere to be seen while Gibson was sentenced. Maybe she must be planning how to extract as much money as she can from her ex-lover. But as always, girls get the benefit of doubt and Oksana???s case is no different. Even after Gibson alleged that she tried every trick in the book to extort millions of dollars from him, still no criminal case was charged against her. Seems justice gets a whole new definition when it involves a sexy female. Whatever she narrates with moist eyes is considered nothing less than accurate. In that case, Gibson is right to stay silent because he knows his depleting charm won???t do any magic to arrest attention. Strange but true!
