Oops! It was a slip of tongue. The “Witchy” star Melissa Joan Hart has tried to cover her shrewdness surfaced from her comment about Farrah Fawcett, saying the press has misconstrued her meaning. At least she admits she said it.
The former Sabrina, the Teenage Witch star was overheard saying that she had been hoping last week that terminally-ill Fawcett wouldn’t die and thus bump her chance to be on the cover page of People.
However, Melissa has apologized publicly for the comment, explaining she was just talking about what she “read about how the cover of People magazine was chosen from an article last week I read in the Times.”
Well whatever way, Melissa has eaten her own words giving a vague explanation that it was said in a different context.
