After a long and hectic adoption process (which included some setbacks too), Madonna’s new daughter from Malawi has joined her in London. As per reports, Chifundo “Mercy” James left her native Malawi late Friday on a private jet headed for London.
Us Weekly reports,
An airport employee and a person familiar with Madonna’s adoption proceedings said the 3-year-old left late Friday. The girl was reportedly accompanied on the flight by a nanny, a child nurse and a third assistant.
Mercy should have reached London, where Madonna has a home, Saturday morning, the AP reports. She will join Madonna’s other children, David, the son she adopted from Malawi last year, and Lourdes, 12, and Rocco, 8.
I feel happy for Madge. And I’m already hearing the sounds of a big celebration at her London home. Madge certainly deserves to have a blast. Congratulations, Madge!
