After 12 days and at the orders of her doctor, Mia Farrow has ended her fast for Darfur. Mia is a goodwill ambassador for UN children’s foundation Unicef and was fasting to show solidarity with the people of the war-hit Darfur region of Sudan. Her doctors feared she might suffer seizures because of drop in her blood sugar levels.
Mia seems to have lost almost 13lbs and has become so weak that she wasn???t even able to stand during the fast. Her fast has been taken over by Virgin boss, Richard Branson for three days, which will begin on Friday. It is good to see Hollywood coming up for the humanitarian causes!
