People today believe in success by not toiling hard for it but through shortcuts. Take for example, Pop star Britney, what wrong she won’t do to grab a piece of attention. Some cases are genuine enough and some just seem to be. Only time can tell the difference or the autobiographies, as most of the wrongs people write about that they find in themselves. Getting back to what I am here for, it seems Miss New Jersey, Amy Polumbo is in trouble. The scam is about some indecent pictures of her taken some years back.
The 22-year-old beauty queen said that someone was blackmailing her. She is afraid of the threats as she revealed that “being crowned as Miss New Jersey is a dream come true. But that dream has now turned into a nightmare. I am presently the victim of blackmail and possible extortion.” As per her the threats are about the publication of some eighteen private pictures of her that she and her friends posted at a private site. She also said that she could have averted the media attention and submitted to the anonymous identity but she wants to fight back. Reports are also saying that the situation holds a strong point that the source of threats is someone close to Amy and not an outsider. Hmmm…I guess it can be some of her own friends. However, both the attorney and Amy refused to give any details regarding the photographs.
The police is investigating the case but the crown stands in the position of changing hands. So, if it is a short way to success, it is cheap and if that’s not the case then I would like to say that ‘people be careful’.
