An Egyptian millionaire and owner of Harrods department store in London, Mohamed al- Fayed, won a court fight to have a jury rule in the investigations of the deaths of his late son, Dodi and Princess Diana, in Paris car crash that occurred 10 years ago.

Mohamed al-Fayed is the father of Princess Diana’s lover, Dodi Fayed, who was dating Diana and was killed with her in August 1997 Paris car crash that also killed their driver.

Three senior judges Friday ordered that the coroner hearing the inquest ‘shall do so sitting with a jury.’

Harrods boss will now fight to prove that the couple were killed in an established conspiracy. He said,

Diana was the people’s princess. The people must be allowed to hear all the evidence and then, and only then, decide how she died, why she died and who ordered her murder.

The inquest is likely to start in May. Al- Fayed has alleged that Dodi and Diana were murdered on orders of Queen Elizabeth’s husband Prince Philip. But French investigators ruled that crash was an accident and the driver was drunk and under the influence of anti-depressants and driving too fast.

Fayed declared,

I want Charles and Philip together in court. These are the people who ordered the murder.

Diana’s children, Princes William and Harry have written to the coroner through their private secretary to say that they wish the inquest to be prompt, fair and transparent.

Well everybody wants it to be transparent and fair hearing. With the World’s eyes looking on this case and hoping that Jury will help to show that justice is being done. But repeated legal actions have delayed the inquest by nearly 10 years. Now we can hope to know the truth.
