Madonna is definitely hung up on the rude remarks of moody singer Morrissey over her.
While performing at recent show in Norfolk, Virginia, Morrissey attacked Madonna verbally for wearing fur at a recent show in America. The former Smiths icon was doing a benefit show for PETA – People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals last week when he slammed Madge’s choice of clothing.
Insulting Madonna publicly, Morrissey said,
I wouldn’t be surprised if she made that African boy she adopted into a coat and wore him for 15 minutes, then threw it away.
By saying this he probably wanted to blast Madonna for aping Angelina Jolie and adopting 21-month old David Banda from Malawi last year in the middle of a controversy.
Firing back at Morrissey, Madonna’s publicist said,
In an attempt to trash Madonna, he revealed himself. What kind of a person could even call up such imagery and words?
Later in the concert, Smith sang classics like, ‘The Queen Is Dead’, ‘How Soon Is Now’ and ‘Girlfriend In A Coma.’ He expressed his gratification for being given a chance to work for the noble cause.
