While O.J. Simpson seems to believe that his current girlfriend Christie Prody slept his 54-year-old gardener, Cathy Bellmore, Prody’s mother has defended the fidelity of her daughter vehemently. She says that it is not like her daughter to sleep around the way it has been reported.
According to the gardener’s wife, Simpson came over to their house on July 29 accusing her husband of having slept with Prody earlier in the day. When Simpson saw her husband he went mad in rage and threatened to kill him. Police was called but no charges were framed.
It may be recalled that O.J. Simpson is a former football player, who was once accused of killing her ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend, Ron Goldman. However, Simpson was acquitted. Prody is said to have met Simpson soon after the murder of Simpson’s ex-wife. They exchanged numbers and that’s how their relationship began.
Simpson may not have killed his ex-wife but it was clear even during the trial that he was upset about her association with Ron. So, it might be safely concluded that he had a history of not taking his women’s infidelity lightly. However, there is so far news about Prody breaking off with Simpson. May be, they would patch up. We wish Simpson was mistaken about Prody’s infidelity.
