Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste on them and allow the mushrooms to turn brown. Add lime juice to the mushrooms and toss like before. Remove from heat and serve the mushrooms.

Broccoli salad


Broccoli is one of the most talked about veggies regarding its cancer fighting properties. It helps in reducing cholesterol, has high levels of vitamin C, K, calcium and helps in maintaining blood sugar levels.

Take about 5 cups of broccoli florets, ½ cup of raisins,1 chopped red onion, a cup of mayonnaise, 2 teaspoons sugar, 10 slices of fried and crumbled bacon and 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly in a large bowl and keep the bowl in the refrigerator. Whenever the guests are ready, serve the salad chilled.
