Ingredients Required:

You will require 1 cup of flour, 1/2 t salt, 4 ounces of chilled and sliced unsalted butter, 1 separated large egg, 1 pounds of sliced ripe plums, halved strawberries, halved cherries, sugar, 1 T milk and 2 T heated and strained apricot jam.

Method of Preparation:

Take flour and salt in a food processor and pulse. Now add butter and pulse for five seconds so that crumbs form.

Now, pour cup of ice water in it and pulse. When the dough become a ball, wrap in a plastic and flatten in a disk. Now, freeze it for 15 minutes.

Take a parchment paper and start rolling the dough around 12 inch round and approximately 1/8 inch thick. On a baking sheet slide the dough and parchment. Now, place it again in the freezer to soften.

Preheat oven at 375 degree. Slightly beat the white portion of egg. Now, brush it on dough’s top. Spread fruit all over the dough, but you must leave 1 inch border. Sprinkle sugar on it. Fold the edge of dough so that a rim is formed.

Now take a bowl and pour egg yolk and milk. Beat them well. On the edge of dough, brush the mixture. Sprinkle sugar on it.

Bake the dough until the crust turns golden and fruit juices start bubbling. It will take 50 minutes. Cool it off and brush with jam.
