Daughters of Sunil and Nargis Dutt, Priya and Namrata, have silently penned down memories of their parents in a book named ‘Mr and Mrs Dutt- Memories of our parents’. It has been confirmed that the book will hit stands by end of this month.
The book also includes contribution from Sanjay Dutt as well. This dedication to the legendary Dutt’s include personal insights about the Dutt family over the years. Major highlight of the book is Sanjay Dutt’s arrest in 1994 in connection with the 1993 bomb blasts. A traumatic incident for the family where father Sunil Dutt played a vitol and pivital role in supporting his son throughout. A case which is still on and yet haunts the family, the book throws light from the family’s point of view and is a narration of various experiences the family went through during that traumatic patch of time.
The judgement that superstar Sanjay Dutt is no terrorist came as a big relief for the family and removed a huge burden from their shoulders. The book also has praises from Shiv Sena’s leader Bal Thackrey for Sanjay Dutts perseverance and dedication.
The sisters also pen down the good times of the family with special reference to Sanjay and Sunil Dutts performances in Munnabhai MBBS. This movie marked a huge relief to Sunil Dutt. He regained the belief that his son has made a vast improvement ever since professionally and personally as well. The movie also saw the last of the legendary actor who has always been the strongest pillar in the Dutt family amongst the children especially after the early demise of Nargis Dutt.
