Isaac Hanson, the oldest member of the brother band Hanson, was rushed to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas after suffering severe shoulder and chest pains on Tuesday night after a show at the House of Blues.
Isaac Hanson, 26, suffered a pulmonary embolism and remained hospitalized Wednesday night, therefore canceling the band’s show in Tulsa tonight.
Hanson’s brother, Taylor, told the television station by phone from Tulsa, Okla, the band’s hometown that his brother was doing well.
We appreciate thoughts and prayers that have been out there for him. We want the tour to go on, so you know we are working steadfastly to see how long he’s going to need to rest.
Pulmonary embolism occurs when a blood clot in the extremities breaks away and travels to the lungs.
