My Kitchen: Hometown Culinary Experiences #8 – Fish head with vegetables

iiuiFish head with vegetables is the most exotic recipe during winter and it takes the least time on earth.
1. Fry the head of hilsa fish in oil and keep aside.
2. In a pan fry onions until brown, add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and tomatoes.
3. Fry the spices for 10 mins, stirring continuously, adding water and add pre-cooked vegetables comprising potatoes, brinjals, bittergourd, pumpkin and stir for 10 more minutes
4. Break the fish head into pieces and add it to the vegetables, fry for five minutes.

Garnish with coriander leaves. You can have the delicacy with boiled rice or pilaf.
