Narendra Modi Smiles after proving himself Incorruptible in Wiki leaks

Bharatiya Janata Party and Narendra Modi, the chief minister of Gujarat, have been able to make the most of the recently published report in Wiki Leak Cables. The Gujarati chief minister has proclaimed himself as the only Indian politician who is incorruptible. According to Modi, the US government has no right of preaching the Indian politicians, what is right and what is wrong, as they themselves lack ethics. He said in a statement that US should not try to teach Indians how to preserve the human rights.

In 2006, the US consul general Michael S Owen had sent a cable to Modi. In this cable, Owen has acknowledged Modi as one of the most potent, future leaders of India and has shown great faith in Modi’s bright political career. He has asked Modi to collaborate with him for delivering direct messages on human rights to the Indians. Owen has mentioned in this cable how he expects Modi to become a national level leader of the BJP in near future.

Praising the chief minister, Owen has said that he believes that Modi has been successful in building a great image for himself as a good politician by promoting the development of the industries in Gujarat and staying away from scandals. In Owen’s opinion, Narendra Modi has a great work ethics and he has a blameless reputation.

The BJP is elated by the Wiki Leak reports that have come to front recently. They have pointed out how the US government had denied giving Narendra Modi a visa for going to the US, in 2002. They believe that now the US government wants to make up for their past mistakes. The BJP has stated through a press release that the US government has acknowledged Modi as the sole political leader of India who is not corrupted and who has a spotless reputation. Owen too has expressed his opinion that Modi is a truly good administrator who has developed Gujarat in several different ways. His strict regime has proved to be highly beneficial for the Gujarati people.

Modi has said in a media statement that he has told Owen that he is a son of India and he knows very well how the US consul has violated the human rights. The Consul General seemed to be regretting the fact that they had revoked his visa application in 2005 following the communal riots in Gujarat. He also told that he wants to communicate with Modi, with the help of the Delhi Embassy. Modi is definitely basking in the glory of the praises coming from Wiki Leaks. He has acknowledged that Wiki Leaks has been helpful in telling the world about the progress of Gujarat and the highly ethical governance of the state
