Ok I know how bold hues really bring out Latino complexions. But to be honest, I???m not really sure if I loved what Nelly Furtado chose to wear for her Grammy red carpet appearance. Or maybe it???s just that she???s sucked in her cheeks as if the air was filled with poisonous gas or something! Anyways, though I really love the refreshing palette, I can???t say I???m a huge fan of the texture. The silhouette is really graceful but the overall effect its giving out is that she got up way late, magically lost her original Grammys dress and hurriedly wrapped her previous night???s satin bed sheets to make it to the event on time. The pulled back wet-look blond hair don???t help her cause either. Though I must commend the designer on bringing some semblance of curves to the usually mal-nourished looking frame of Ms. Furtado, I???m absolutely horrified by the side zipper sticking out like a sore thumb covered in foul-smelling jelly-like pus! It???s just one of those ensembles that scar you for life if you dare wear it to the Prom.
