New thriller ‘Homecoming’ will have Mischa Barton as stalker

Mischa Barton is all set to sizzle the silver screen yet again but this time there is a twist in the tale. Reports have it that the actress will be seen playing an indie stalker in the upcoming thriller movie ‘Homecoming’. The actress will be seen playing a high school sweetheart of a former small-town golden boy who has developed an unhealthy obsession with him.

Along with Barton the viewers have a league of extraordinary actors in their platter in the movie. Joining Mischa will be Matt Long, Jessica Stroup, and Michael Landes, all coming under the direction of Morgan J. Freeman, one of ‘Dawson’s Creek’ helmers.

As for the script of the movie, it was earlier drafted by Katie Fetting and Jake Goldberg before Frank Hannah was brought in to carry the rest of the writing. The production team which has taken up this project is the Animus Films along with Paper Street Films.

Serving as producers in the movie are Jim Young and Bill Papariella of Animus Films along with Bingo Gubelmann and Austin Stark of Paper Street Films. Nuala Barton, Benji Kohn, Chris Papavasiliou, and Richard Bard will be seen carrying on the duties of executive producers.

Mischa Barton has been the sort of candy eyed actress ever since she made her debut in Hollywood. Her role in Homecoming can give her acting an all new dimension. Fans of Barton across the international circuit will definitely be anticipating the release of this widely spoken role of a stalker. They will though have to wait for confirmations on when the movie will hit the theaters close by. As for time being they can feast their minds thinking about Barton’s character and take some thrill out of their imagination.
