Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are engaged and an early wedding is planned at Mexico’s Las Ventanas resort in Cabo San Lucas.
Only two weeks back I had reported about the couple being spotted last month at Los Angeles jewellery store XIV Carats, probably browsing some of the engagement rings.
And now a report appearing in the National Enquirer magazine has put the seal of authenticity on the much talked about rumour of recent times.
The National Enquirer quoted a source:
They picked out matching silver and diamond rings at a jewellery boutique in Caesar’s Palace and then headed to the Little White Wedding Chapel where the hovered outside for ages. But Nicole wanted her dad’s blessing so they went straight to see him when they got back to Los Angeles.
Madden was terrified to confront Lionel Richie, Nicole’s adoptive father, but his fear soon vanished as Lionel was more than happy by the couples’ decision.
The would-be-bride’s father greeted Madden with open arms and thanked him for everything he had done for his daughter.
Now the couple are sailing on a cloud and planning for their wedding, which is going to be a small ceremony with under 100 people, at Mexico’s Las Ventanas resort in Cabo San Lucas.
