Would be mom Nicole Richie and beau Joel Madden are getting charitable! Richie and Madden are planning to have their first baby shower this Sunday and instead of guests bringing gifts for the couple, they are asking pals to donate stuff to their new charity, the Richie Madden Children’s Foundation.
Richie Madden Children’s Foundation will be supporting mothers in need. Next month, their charity will also donate 100 Mom-to-Be kits to the Los Angeles Free Clinic.
Nicole told press, ‘I want my child to look up to me and be proud of me.’
Well, this is good tactic to gain publicity. And I guess they don’t need gifts so opted for the charity! Indeed, super cool idea!
