After being together for almost half a decade and producing two kids out of this harmonious relationship, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have finally become husband and wife. Nicole, 29, and Joel, 31, exchanged vows at her dad Lionel Richie???s Beverly Hills estate on Saturday, Dec. 11. The ceremony was attended by 130 close family members and friends… and an elephant!

Nicole Richie tied the knot with her longtime love Joel Madden. Celebs attending the wedding included Gwen Stefani, Ashlee Simpson, Kris Jenner, the groom’s twin brother Benji Madden and Samantha Ronson — but the biggest arrival of all was an elephant!
Nicole, 29, and Joel, 31, who have been together for several years and have two children, wed in Los Angeles at the estate of her father Lionel Richie, which was tented for the nuptials, on Saturday, Dec. 11. Their children, Harlow, almost 3, and Sparrow, nearly 15 months, were in attendance for the ceremony.
Congratulations to Nicole and Joel! May god continue to shower his choicest blessings on this sweet family for decades to come. By the way, I still can’t figure out why the elephant was part of the wedding festivities. A symbol of good luck?
