Only hard times reveal who your real friends are. Now, when Mischa Barton is going through the most traumatic phase of her life, her so-called closest friend Nicole Richie has parted ways with her.
Richie feels that now she must not keep the company of an alcoholic, as she starts her family. Mischa’s really unlucky that she befriended such shallow people.
A source says, “Her friends, like Nicole, want to be supportive but they really can’t be around her too much. She’s too volatile.”
I don’t think they would have ever complained so when they used to party at her expense. Well, this is how life is, bad times can alienate even friends.
I hope Mischa realizes this soon and tries to get out of her mess on her own.
